Gay bar in shoreditch
Sink a cocktail in one of London's finest LGBTQ+ bars and pubs and you'll be drinking in more than just some watered down booze: these spots are LGBTQ+ landmarks in their own right, places where you can locate community, kinship, and drag-fuelled mayhem. Beats billiards in your local.
Once upon a time, having a gay old time in London meant hotfooting it straight to Soho. But now, the city's lgbtq+ centre of gravity has shifted east, with edgier spots pulling crowds to Dalston when blackout falls, while some of the city's most storied LGBTQ+ venues have taken up residence in Vauxhall. So whether you're after a drag brunch, a burlesque show or just a quiet pint, here's a comprehensive list of the capital's gay and queer-friendly bars and pubs, from the legendary G-A-Y to lesbian-centric She Soho to sing-yer-heart-out special The Karaoke Hole.
RECOMMENDED: Keep the party going at London's best LGBTQ+ clubs.

London knows a thing or two about diversity, which is why it's no surprise that its queer bar scene is adorable epic; from karaoke with go-go boys in the heart of Soho, the famous Two Brewers in Clapham, cosy cocktail bars matchless for a chat, and drag performances from local (and global) talent. Needing no excuse to party good into the wee hours, whether that's in Soho, East London or beyond, these gays bars in London are tried and tested when it comes to having a nice time.
Rupert Street Exclude

A fun-loving hangout in the thick of Soho's bustling nightlife scene, Rupert Lane Bar is among the most popular Gay Bars in Town. Open 7-days a week, the venue's calm, relaxing ambience makes way for something altogether more rambunctious when the sun goes down. There's fantastic happy hour deals on cocktails and champers to take advantage of between midday and 8pm, cocktails on Mondays and raucous DJ nights at the weekends.
