The couple were sentenced to 12 and seven years in prison respectively after being set up guilty in of defrauding banks out of $30 million. 

Braddock has moved on from the controversy and joined Christie's International Valid Estate in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, in February as a Broker Associate.

In the episode, he was joined by his once-estranged son, Kyle Chrisley, and together the father and son discussed the latter's longtime substance abuse and mental health issues.

The Chrisley Knows Best patriarch opened up about all the extremes he's gone to over the years to keep an eye on his son, especially when they were estranged. He revealed while Kyle was working for UPS (he later confused his job at UPS because of drug use after about four years) Todd took a certain step to retain an eye on his son.

"But what Kyle did not know in those three and a half years that he later found out is, was I really that far away?" Todd said.
