San Francisco Castro: Superior Things to Perform & See In this Famous, LGBT District
The San Francisco Castro district is an internationally known neighborhood that supports the LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, gender diverse and queer) society.
This progressive and accepting neighborhood was also home to one of the most significant lgbtq+ rights activists of the s, Harvey Milk.
In my encounter of visiting this district often, there are plenty of fun things to do here during the day and at night.
I love walking around this lively and colorful neighborhood. While this SF district is established for its back of the LGBTQ community, you will find that many families also contact this neighborhood home.
Is the Castro safe? Absolutely. In truth, due to its strong sense of community, it's one of the safest in San Francisco.
During your visit, you will immediately look the fun innateness of the society all the way down to the names of some of the bars, restaurants and shops. My two favorites are "Does
San Francisco is made up of districts - each livelier than the next with its own unique characteristic. If you want to wait in just one area and cover all the best bars on foot, head straight to one of the following streets, and you’re sure to find plenty of options to keep you occupied all evening.
For the artists and art lovers : Valencia Street
Valencia Street is a particularly bohemian stretch, home to theatres, art galleries, book stores, third wave coffee shops and dive bars. It is also a great place to catch live song acts from artists in the local area. Blondie’s is a perennial favorite here, particularly for its sumptuous purple decor, martini menu and sidewalk seating, but the nearby Casanova is also worth hopping by.
Budget nights : Union Street
For college students, or a first date - Ottimista Restaurant is a refined wine bar, or if you prefer craft beer then sports bar Brick Yard is your choice!

Castro ist zu Fuss zu erreichen, von dort fährt die Strassenbahn für $ 3 durch depart Market Street bis Fishermans Wharf. William ist ein netter Gastgeber und das Frühstück bietet eine ausreichende habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt.

Very kind host, had a very nice roommate as well. Clean bathroom, plenty of food to eat in kitchen for breakfast. Close to the Castro District.
