Nude beach gay
First things first, we have been asked time and age again, ‘what is a gay beach’?
The answer is quite simple.
Just like the concept of a gay bar, a gay beach is somewhere that you can relax, be yourself, show fondness to your significant other and be just that little less self-conscious than you may otherwise be at any other beach.
That’s not to say you can’t do these things elsewhere; however when we are on vacation we prefer to take the guess work out of whether we may or may not experience any sort of homophobia – heading to a gay beach (for us) certainly takes any such worries away.
Naturally, queer beaches tend to be a short-lived more liberal with many being same-sex attracted nudist beaches, a tad cruisy and generally having a more carefree atmosphere – for some (such as Maspalomas) during pride events they turn into daily beach parties and have a great vibe!
There is a lot of fun to be had at lgbtq+ beaches and they are particularly trendy around Europe.
Typically, you will find that most top queer destinations in Europe will have an official gay beach marked on

Throughout our travels, we've visited many excellent gay beaches around the world, some even popular nudist ones. There is nothing more invigorating and liberating than organism able to swim freely in the seawater…then dehydrated in the sunshine in nothing but your birthday suit, just as Mother Nature intended!
Here are our favorite gay nude beaches from around the planet. Just remember to implement plenty of sunscreen while exploring the nudist lifestyle…the last thing you yearn is to get a nasty sunburn around the crown jewels!

With dunes rising up from the sea to sandstone cliffs in the distance, this is largely considered Europe’s most beautiful (and largest) gay beach.
Beach 19 is an official nude beach
It’s been known as a “gay beach” since the s, but it’s been attracting gay men since the s, when this stretch of the Caparica coast became a secluded beach where nude sunbathing was tolerated (it was declared an official nude beach in ).
